In progress…

New green roof and redeveloped tenant amenities for an existing residential building in Long Island City.  Planted areas are arranged to create a flow of seating and activity spaces, including children’s areas, tennis and bocce courts. Existing pavers are repurposed and rearranged to allow growth between and water retention below, while terrace railings are replaced by greenscreens - blurring the lines between people, play and plants.  Designed in partnership with the Brooklyn Grange and financed with one of largest DEP grants ever awarded for stormwater management.
